2019 Decor Trends

I don’t know about you; but I love knowing what trends are headed our way in the upcoming year. Even incorporating the smallest of changes in your home, keeps it feeling fresh and current.

So today, we’re breaking down our Favorite 2019 Décor Trends.

Our best pro tip? Pick just a few that you can implement easily without blowing the budget or dating your home by the time the ball drops in 2020.

1. Black Countertops in Leathered Granite or Honed Quartzite:

2019 will bring a departure from the polished marble surfaces and a reinvention of natural stones with interesting texture and character.

2. Curved Lines:

We're moving away from all straight lines on everything. Curves and 1970's inspired furnishings are fresh and fun again!

3. Oxidized Oak Furniture

We still love the weathered white oak look for SURE! But this is a fresh alternative that brings a bit more depth and interest- especially when placed in an otherwise all white room.

4. Bold Backsplashes:

Though subway tile will always be a classic, designers are choosing to pack a bigger punch in the kitchen this year. It's an easy way to make your space memorable and not TOO terribly hard to replace when you're ready for a new look.

5. Warm Whites:

2019 has us craving warmer tones for our walls.

Still love the crisp white look like us? We'd recommend layering with creamier textiles and vintage rugs to up the cozy factor just a bit.

6. Mixing Metals:

This look is here to stay for 2019. We recommend no more than 3 metals mixed in one space. And shoot for metals that compliment each other well rather than appearing too similar.

7. Wood Accents in the Kitchen:

Because we'll never grow tired of a crisp white kitchen, wood accents are just the thing to keep these spaces current.
